TAD's first three graduates sweep the Society of Illustrators New York Professional Competition |
November 17, 2011: The Art Department was well-represented in this year's call for entries for the Society of Illustrators' Annual Exhibition. Two of our talented Career Mentorship graduates, Leslie Herman and Edward Kinsella III were awarded medals for their professional work - the top honors in the illustration industry. The Illustrators 54 Exhibition will begin showing in January - see the Society's exhibition page for more information.  Leslie Herman: GOLD medal in "Advertising" Category Poster for Okkervil River Show in Richmond
 Edward Kinsella III: SILVER medal in "Editorial" Category Illustration of Beck for Wired Magazine
Additionally, TAD TAD's studio assistant and Career Mentorship graduate Jeffrey Alan Love was also accepted into the "Uncommissioned" category for his piece Keeping Track of a Moving Target.
