ENT401 | Industry B | WED + THURS | 3Pm-4:30pmInstructorSRon Lemen, Scott Wetterschneider & Herb ElwoodCOURSE DESCRIPTIONThis studio class allows students to refine skills and knowledge gained for the first stage of producing global intellectual property for the entertainment industry. Students focus on further creating the pre-production work required to build a universe and move it into full production. Learning ObjectivesKey objectives are focused on students gaining the knowledge necessary to design the characters, creatures, environments, props, items, and industrial designs which make up entertainment universes in a way which is related to, and functional for, the various stages of the entertainment production process. Learning OutcomesThe knowledge presented allows students to understand the methods which concept art is created and how it is used for 3D modeling, texturing, animation, building prototypes, and producing a host of content for the international entertainment markets. Course RequirementsStudents will be issued a syllabus that will list the goals, projected outcomes, grading system, and any other resources the instructor deems necessary. All enrolled students must have completed Entertainment A. |
All TAD classes include live demonstrations, thought provoking lectures, relevant presentations, instructor and peer feedback and critique, with a conscious effort made for content appropriate for artists of all skill levels and trades, and applicable to the freelance artist as well as the corporate visual communicator.
All TAD classes are streamed live and then available 24 hours a day to students On Demand, enabling a fully flexible schedule for viewing the classes and getting the direct and personal feedback required to be successful. Live classes are scheduled according to Central Standard Time (CST), adjusted for Daylight Savings Time (CDT) during the summer months.
