COURSE DESCRIPTION

This studio class exposes students to industry best practices related to creating high vision images, marketing art, and pitch illustration. Students work to create appealing content using 2D/3D processes, and refined digital painting techniques.

Learning Objectives

The objectives in this class are focused to better allow students to create high resolution digital images which are used to excite audiences, set the visual tone for the universe, and to provide an understanding on the differences between pitch, marketing, and production art.

Learning Outcomes

The knowledge presented enables students to better produce refined illustrations appropriate for international print and media marketing usage, and representing intellectual properties at the greenlight pitch stage of production.

Course Requirements

Students will be issued a syllabus that will list the goals, projected outcomes, grading system, and any other resources the instructor deems necessary. All enrolled students must have completed Entertainment A.

All TAD classes include live demonstrations, thought provoking lectures, relevant presentations, instructor and peer feedback and critique, with a conscious effort made for content appropriate for artists of all skill levels and trades, and applicable to the freelance artist as well as the corporate visual communicator.

All TAD classes are streamed live and then available 24 hours a day to students On Demand, enabling a fully flexible schedule for viewing the classes and getting the direct and personal feedback required to be successful. Live classes are scheduled according to Central Standard Time (CST), adjusted for Daylight Savings Time (CDT) during the summer months.
