ENT303 | Industry A | Wed + Thurs | 4Pm-7pmInstructorSJason Manley, Ron Lemen & Industry ProfessionalsCOURSE DESCRIPTIONThis studio class exposes students to industry best practices related to 2d entertainment design and pre-production. Students will focus on designing content and concept art which can be used for production, while being provided a better understanding of up to date industry method and tools. Learning ObjectivesIn order to create concept art and designs which can be used for production across the entertainment industry, students must learn the processes and methods studios require to produce content. Key objectives are focused on students gaining a stronger understanding of how the industry handles pre-production as well as the restrictions technology places upon their visual designs. Learning OutcomesThe knowledge presented allows students to create production ready concept art and visual design work, with the methods the industry uses worldwide. Course RequirementsStudents will be issued a syllabus that will list the goals, projected outcomes, grading system, and any other resources the instructor deems necessary. All enrolled students must have completed both Foundations A and B. |
All TAD classes include live demonstrations, thought provoking lectures, relevant presentations, instructor and peer feedback and critique, with a conscious effort made for content appropriate for artists of all skill levels and trades, and applicable to the freelance artist as well as the corporate visual communicator.
All TAD classes are streamed live and then available 24 hours a day to students On Demand, enabling a fully flexible schedule for viewing the classes and getting the direct and personal feedback required to be successful. Live classes are scheduled according to Central Standard Time (CST), adjusted for Daylight Savings Time (CDT) during the summer months.
