The Art Department's
Fine art program
is deeply rooted in art history + coupled with traditional training of representational drawing + painting, creating a balanced curriculum you'd be hard-pressed to find elsewhere.

Students in this industry focus concentrate on developing their observation to a keen awareness of what they see in nature, and that which is exists in the world around them. TAD artists strive to master the craft of image-making using tools in both traditional media (graphite, charcoal, crayon, oils, watercolors) as well as digital media (photoshop and painter). TAD faculty show in leading galleries around the world and will assist students as they prepare for a successful career in fine art.

All TAD classes include live demonstrations, thought provoking lectures, relevant presentations, instructor and peer feedback and critique, with a conscious effort made for content appropriate for artists of all skill levels and trades, and applicable to the freelance artist as well as the corporate visual communicator.

All TAD classes are streamed live and then available 24 hours a day to students On Demand, enabling a fully flexible schedule for viewing the classes and getting the direct and personal feedback required to be successful. Live classes are scheduled according to Central Standard Time (CST), adjusted for Daylight Savings Time (CDT) during the summer months.
