Prepare for a successful career in today's digital world - only at The Art Department.

TAD students learn and work alongside award-winning professionals, who are dedicated to fostering student development far beyond their potential and turning passions into careers. TAD offers frequent opportunities for students to network with hundreds of potential employers while still in school.

Our 30 month program has been meticulously developed by a team of esteemed professionals, who all went through historically more traditional art school.  The curriculum includes all the information they valued, all the information that was missing from their own training, and all of the hard-earned lessons from their combined experience in the professional art world.

You will not find a more challenging, focused art education anywhere else.

All students are required to take twelve months of Foundations before selecting a industry of focus for the final eighteen months.

ENHANCED HYBRID = VIRTUAL + WORKSHOPS + PODS

For those seeking the most immersive program TAD has to offer, students may elect to participate in one of the three TAD POD studio locations, lcoated in Austin, TX, Kansas City, KS, and Richmond, VA. • PODs

TAD currently offers three PODs located in the United States where students come together to work, share ideas, develop a sense of community and receive in-person feedback from professional faculty.

PODs are open to students from each industry of focus - Illustration, Painting, 3D and Entertainment Design. No POD is specific to a select discipline, although the faculty leading the PODs may be more versed in the field in which they have experience. POD students enjoy 24-hour access to fully-equipped studio space, where they interact with their peers and instructors on a daily basis, with the potential opportunity to collaborate and receive guidance on TAD projects as well as any other personal or contracted work.

Students interested in participating in a POD should designate which POD location they are interested in attending on their application. Once the application is approved, students will need to contact the POD director at the POD location of their choice to secure a spot. Acceptance into TAD does not secure a spot in a POD. POD students pay a studio fee of up to $300 per month.

Living accommodations in these cities will not be facilitated or paid for by The Art Department and TAD will provide contact info with local realtors for assistance in housing location.
