June 21, 2011: This upcoming Sunday, June 26th from 3:30pm-6pm, TAD ATX Studio Lead Francis Vallejo will be lecturing and demoing at the 2011 Industry Giants conference in Dallas, TX.

Lecture Description: "Finding Your Voice: Demystifying the Journey Towards Individual Style"

This workshop will cover the elusive topic of, "How do I make my work unique?" How did the giants of art develop the instantly recognizable look and aesthetic of their work? Nearly two years out of school, Francis has battled this subject on a daily basis, and has discovered that it is not a mythical ability some artists are born with. But rather, finding your individual voice is something all artists can do. It will though, takes a lot of work, and a focused game plan. Francis will lecture for an hour, and give examples from his personal journey, along with a heavy does from art history. Vallejo will then spend the remaining time giving a live demonstration on how to take one subject and interpret it in a number of styles. He'll further discus the thinking behind each direction - and how each is more applicable to certain projects/clients.
