Visual Literacy Program (VLP) Pro, created by The Art Department (TAD), is an exclusive, subscription-based, online art community designed to help both the serious student and the professional artist develop their artistic skills and create their best portfolio work.

As a VLP member, artists receive real-world training at the highest level, from world renowned artists and industry leaders in the areas of illustration, drawing and painting and entertainment design. VLP Faculty include Mark English, John English, Gary Kelley, George Pratt, Sterling Hundley, C.F. Payne, Anita Kunz, Jon Foster, Brent Watkinson, Andrew Jones and more!

Members will have access to a comprehensive video library of in-depth lessons taught by VLP faculty covering a broad range of topics, from process and inspiration to promotion and business. The VLP also provides online forums and galleries that enable members to post their work and receive critiques from instructors, while also offering a space for members to interact and share feedback with each other.

Cost

The cost of membership is an annual fee of $495.00.

The Visual Literacy Program (VLP) for High Schools, created by The Art Department (TAD), is an online, cutting edge art program designed to expand current classroom art curriculums into an educational experience that will prepare students for an art and design college. The VLP provides in-depth video lessons taught by world renowned illustrators and painters that teachers can use to help students develop their artistic skills and create the ultimate portfolio. The VLP also includes an online forum and gallery that enables students to post their work and receive critiques and discussion by VLP faculty and feedback from other student members.

Cost

The VLP for High Schools is free. The Art Department is donating the Visual Literacy Program to high schools to help prepare students for careers in Art and Design.
